Founder & CEO
With over 20 years of experience in location scouting and film production, Amelia leads Scenic Vista Films with a vision for connecting filmmakers with the world's most extraordinary locations. Amelia holds a degree in Film Studies from the University of Southern California and has worked on location for numerous award-winning films and documentaries. She is passionate about sustainable filmmaking practices and is committed to preserving the beauty of our planet for future generations.
Benjamin Cole
Head of Location Management
Benjamin is a seasoned location manager with a proven track record of successfully coordinating complex film shoots in diverse and challenging environments. He has a keen eye for detail and a knack for finding creative solutions to logistical challenges. Before joining Scenic Vista Films, Benjamin worked as a freelance location manager for several major studios and independent production companies. He is a certified wilderness first responder and is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients and crew.
Chloe Nguyen
Permitting & Logistics Coordinator
Chloe is an expert in navigating the complex world of film permits and logistics. She ensures that all our projects comply with local regulations and environmental guidelines. Chloe holds a degree in Environmental Law from the University of Texas at Austin and is passionate about promoting sustainable filmmaking practices. She is also fluent in Spanish and Vietnamese, making her an invaluable asset in coordinating international film shoots.
David Lee
Head of Creative Partnerships
David is a creative visionary who fosters strong relationships with filmmakers, photographers, and production companies. He has a deep understanding of the creative process and a talent for identifying the perfect location to bring a project to life. David previously worked as a film producer and director and brings a unique perspective to his role at Scenic Vista Films. Our History
2010
Scenic Vista Films was founded by Amelia Hernandez in Fort Worth, Texas, with a vision to connect filmmakers with unique and stunning locations worldwide.
2012
Expanded our location database to include locations in North America and Europe, establishing key partnerships with local location scouts and film commissions.
2015
Launched our international operations, adding locations in Asia and South America to our portfolio. We successfully coordinated our first major international film shoot in Bali, Indonesia.
2018
Implemented a comprehensive sustainability program to minimize our environmental impact and support local communities. We partnered with environmental organizations to promote responsible filmmaking practices.
2020
Navigated the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic by implementing strict safety protocols and virtual location scouting services. We continued to support our clients with innovative solutions and flexible booking options.
